CVHS offers a Vanguard Multidisciplinary Program designed to challenge and develop the potential of Gifted and Talented (GT) students.

  CVHS Magnet Tours

• Tours dates and Times: 
  - Starting on October 16,2025 until February 5,2026. (Thursday)
  - Tours begin promptly at 1:00pm to 2:30pm. 
  
  Tours start right on time, so we ask that you arrive 5-10 minutes early to check in at the front office. Please note: Tours require advance sign-up.

• Opens: December 9, 2025
• Closes: February 27, 2026

 Eligibility Requirements

To apply, students must meet all three of the following criteria:

1. Gifted and Talented Identification
   Recognized as Gifted and Talented (GT) by Houston ISD.
2. Magnet Matrix Score
   Score 80 or higher on the Magnet Matrix
3. Residency
   Live within HISD school district boundaries
